About Kimbolton Connects
Kimbolton Connects is a friendly local networking group for businesses, charities, and community organisations with a strong connection to Kimbolton.
We meet monthly at local venues (at or within 15 minutes of Kimbolton), rotating between different places to keep it fresh and support the community. Meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month.
Each meeting is focused and engaging, with short talks, group activities, and plenty of time for conversation. Between meetings, members stay in touch and support each other through WhatsApp and other channels.
Membership and costs:
£50 per year
No regular meeting fee, but occasional venue costs (e.g. hall hire) may apply, capped at £10 per meeting
Attendees are encouraged to buy a drink or refreshments from the venue when possible
The group is capped at 20 members, and we aim for a mix of local voices from across different sectors. New members are welcome to visit up to two meetings before deciding to join.

How the Meetings Work
Our networking evenings take place every month at a venue in (or within 15 minutes of) Kimbolton, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the evening. The format is relaxed and structured just enough to help conversations flow:
- 7:00pm: Arrive and settle in and buy a drink
- 7:20pm: Quick 10-second introductions around the room
- 7:40pm: A 10-minute "getting to know you" slot for one of the members
- 7:50pm: A second 10-minute "getting to know you" slot for another member.
- 8:00–8:15pm: Break (and top up drinks?)
- 8:15–8:50pm: Group activity (varies each time – e.g. speed networking)
- 8:50pm: Wrap-up and share any upcoming local events
The "getting to know you" member slots can be a presentation from the member or a Q&A session for members who prefer that.
We'll be limiting numbers to 20 people at each meeting.
Membership
Membership includes the following benefits:
- A dedicated listing on the Kimbolton Connects section of the Kimbolton Online website. Your listing can include your logo, photos, business description, contact details, special offers, and more..
- An opportunity to give a 10-minute presentation at a future meeting.
- Access to the Kimbolton Connects WhatsApp group for ongoing support and connection between meetings.
- Access to dedicated social media group(s) for further support/connection.
We operate a one member per profession policy to avoid overlap and ensure a supportive environment for all members. Complementary professions may be considered at our discretion.
Members and visitors will need to book their slot at the meeting by filling in the form on the website.
Guest Attendance
Visitors are welcome to attend up to 2 meetings as a guest before committing to membership . If you sign up as a member in advance you can reserve your space and lock out your competition.
