We are a small family run farm based on the outskirts of Catworth
We breed and rear native breed pork, Pedigree Longhorn Beef and a small flock of texel x sheep and chickens for eggs. Adding to that, the use of a small local abattoir, which limits stress on the animals from travelling far and limits food miles too, everything is then butchered onsite in our 5 🌟 Health and Hygiene rated premises.
We attend local markets, provide food for the local Pop-up-Pub committees and private event catering, mainly focusing on our Hog Roasts.
Weekends see us open our farm to the public where we provide homemade cakes, coffees and Teas. Forever expanding our menu is always on the agenda. Once a month during the warm weather, we open up for Sunday Lunch using our own meat and local veg, with delicious homemade desserts.
The future agenda is to allow public access to the farm for animals to be viewed and even stroked. Expanding the farmshop and tea garden is forever on our minds, so watch this space for more stock. Currently as I write this, we are building a website.
Something else we are offering is onsite rural camping. We can allow you a safe place to pitch up and sleep, and the opportunity for breakfast to kick start your day. This will progress more and more as time allows.
Our ethos is organic although not certified, we don’t inject any animal unless its in need. We try to allow our animals to thrive outside as long as possible, eating the best grass and the best sweet Meadow Hay off our SSSI meadow which IS organic. Knowing where food comes from is important to us. We will continue to develop with this agenda in mind
